Attendance at the convening is by invitationonly for current grantees and funders. If you are a grantee and/or funder and have not received an invite or RSVP, please contact us by 01 April, 2025 at: RTYouthPowerFund@hopelab.org

The Thursday, 24 April 2024 convening will take place at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. Please note there are multiple Ace Hotels in NY, and the convening will be held at the Ace Hotel located at 252 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY.

No. Please arrive as you feel comfortable.
However, if you are planning to attend the Archewell event following the convening, please note that business casual attire is requested.

While we encourage you to stay or the entire convening, we understand that other obligation may pull you away. If you are no longer able to attend or will need to miss parts of the day, please let us know.

For grantees: RTYPF will cover lodging for 2 nights (April 23 and April 24) and meals during the convening. For those who are not based in NYC, travel, whether by plane or train, will also be covered. Ground transport while in NYC will not be provided or reimbursed. For more specific questions, please see the responses below.
For funders: meals will be provided; no expenses will be reimbursed. -

RTYPF will cover 2 nights at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn – check-in April 23, check-out April 25.

Each attendee will have their own room.

Yes, upon check-in at the hotel you will need to put a credit card on file. This will be for incidentals incurred, only. The room fee + taxes will be paid in full, in advance, on your behalf.

Yes, RTYPF grantees may stay at the hotel outside of the covered dates, but would bear the cost of the spare nights at the hotel, and taxes and incidental fees directly. In order to pay for additional nights at the Ace Hotel, you should contact the hotel directly to book.

Yes, if you have indicated so on the travel questionnaire.

No, there will not be a shuttle provided for airport or train station transportation.

No, there will not be ground transportation provided, but we have planned the convening programming so that there should be minimal ground transport needed.

For those booking travel, we will provide contact information for any last-minute changes or issues.

April 23rd dinner, and April 24th breakfast and lunch will be provided.
